** if you would like to change or add any feature to the outside of your home or property, you must get approval from the Architectural Review Board? Click here for the form:

VTTC Exterior Resource Information
As time goes by, you may find the need to replace certain exterior items for your home. Below is a list of such items you can obtain that are exact replacements.

Exterior Building Supply Information:
Lansing Building Products at 601 Hobbs Rd. (410-341-4647), was the original supplier for builder Tom Ruark and gave us this information:

Roof shingles – are Tamko’s Heritage asphalt shingles. The color is “Weathered Wood”. Lansing no longer supplies roof shingles. However, there are 3 dealers in the area who do: ABC Supply Co. Inc 442 (410-749-2269) carries them, as does Beacon Building Products, Inc. 512 (410-860-2800). Universal Supply Co. Inc. (410-992-6200) can order them.

Siding – is Mastic’s Millcreek. There were 5 colors in Lansing’s file: Dessert Sand, Sandtone, Wicker, Pebblestone Clay, and Cameo. They still carry this siding.

Shutters – are Mastic-Alcoa flat panel or louvered style. Lansing can order these. Most homes have 47” and/or 63”. The ARB Committee has samples of approved colors.

Windows - are the 200 Series by Anderson. For screens you will need to measure or bring in a current one. For sashes you will need the year, which can be found "stenciled" in the corner of the windows. Replacement screens and sashes can be ordered at Dealers Building Supply (410-742-3288).

Railings & Columns - "Fairway Railing" vinyl replacement products for porches are available at Dealer's Building Supply. Vinyl Structural Posts are acceptable replacements for the Hogan Carriage homes. There are also vinyl railing options available. The ARB has approved replacements with vinyl, but you will still need to submit a form for your project.
